The beginnings of the company can be traced back to 1987, when the father Ivan Slavec stepped onto the entrepreneurial path. In the beginning, he was working in blacksmithing, and later became a tool craftsman. It is with him that both of his sons started their career paths as self-employed workers.
In 1993, the company was transformed into a limited liability company - the start of the family business SLAVEC MF d.o.o.
The company expanded its production program in 1999 and focused their service into the manufacturing of tools, machines and devices.
In 1999, the company started intensively investing into new machines and modern equipment and technology. Business started growing rapidly. With the new investments, the company was now becoming a fierce contender on the ever more demanding market. Later, we also started producing smaller welded metal constructions.

The investment of building the new business hall mostly intended for welding was carried out in 2005. Great assets were also the purchase of the robot Motoman UP20 and building the robot welding cell. The final big investment was done in 2017, namely the purchase of the laser machine and the sheet metal bending machine. The company employs 18 people who create 2 million EUR turnover a year.
